Choosing a Planting Medium
Growing spaces come in all shapes and sizes! You could go for a petite container garden where you could grow herbs or opt for full-on farmland. It all comes down to the space and time you are willing to commit to your garden.
Apartment Buildings:
Growing a garden in an apartment with little to no outdoor space is tricky, but it is possible. One way to do so is by creating a container garden. Containers have many varieties: whiskey barrels, repurposed jars, and milk jugs, for example.
We recommend growing crops that do not take up a lot of space.

Keep in mind you may have wild animals that are more likely to get into your backyard, like squirrels, gophers, and moles—you may want to install control measures against them like meshes.
Growing in a raised or ground-level garden bed can prevent your harvests from getting eaten. Several benefits come along with each:
You can still use pots or even go for the DIY route to make your own growing space.
